Abstract: Blast resistance genes to select more than one resistant genes harboring plants in segregating populations. Lijiangxintuanheigu (LTH) rice variety and LTH background monogenic lines, with Pi40 resistance gene harboring IR83260-1-1-1-2-1-22-B/Osmancık-97 line were used as plant material. Thirty two molecular markers were assessed. Rice blast resistance gene locus specific DNA fragments were amplified by RM208, Pibdom, b2 and b213 markers for Pi-b gene locus, RM224 marker for Pi1 gene locus, pBA14 marker for Pi9 gene locus, RM7102 and, ta3 markers for Pi-ta gene locus.
As a result of this study, It can be concluded that RM208, Pibdom, b2,b213, RM224, pBA14, pBA14, RM102 and ta3 markers can be used to pyramid Pi-b, Pi1, Pi9 and Pi-ta genes at LTH monogenic line crosses to obtain multi resistance gene harboring LTH background lines. This multi resistance gene harboring lines can be used to improve durable blast resistant multi resistance gene harboring varieties.
