Abstract: This paper presents the results obtained in three years of experimentation in NARDI Fundulea pedoclimatic conditions.
The researches have focused on the behavior of ten varieties of winter peas under the influence of various climatic factors from the experimentation period. The purpose of the researches was to both zoning the most appropriate and efficient genotypes and increasing their biodiversity were followed, in order to diminish the agroecosystems genetic and environmental vulnerability.
The results obtained in the analyzed period have highlighted that the winter pea is a species that behaves differently from year to year and from variety to variety. Under the favorable conditions, as were those of the year 2021, the species realizes high yields, higher than 6000 kg/ha. But, in 2020 the climatic conditions were unfavourable for the winter pea and the effect was the extremely low yields obtained compared with the yield capacity of the studied varieties.
Calculating the production variability coefficient for 2020-2022, it was observed that only the Lavinia F variety fall into the category of varieties with high adaptability to the conditions of the area, the rest of the experimented varieties presenting a medium adaptability. Also, this variety realized the highest average yield (4262 kg/ha), which makes us to recommend its cultivation in the climatic conditions from the Muntenia.
